- JJohnVIPSan Diego •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoIncredible meal and wonderful service. My wife had the sterling NY steak which was cooked perfectly. I had the stuffed sea bass which was full of flavor. Couple of drinks as well. We left very happy 🙂More infoBrigantine La MesaPrice: Moderate• Seafood• La Mesa•4.8

- SshaniquaSan Diego •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoI am beyond satisfied with my experience. I had been waiting for a year for the chance to have this experience. So when I randomly caught an open reservation I had to take it. The food was amazing, the beef short rib was amazingly tender. I was honestly drawn to the ambience and was blown away. The snow falling at the top of the hour was a great addition. We walked the venue and took lots of pictures as well.More infoinsideOUTPrice: Expensive• Californian• Hillcrest•4.8
- DDebbySan Diego •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoWe had a party of 10, and were pleasantly surprised when directed to a private room. The service was fabulous and the food did not disappoint. We had everything from teriyaki chicken to sashimi. This was our first time coming to this restaurant, and I look forward to revisiting many more times to come.More infoBanbu Sushi Bar & GrillPrice: Expensive• Seafood• La Mesa•4.5
- AAndrewSan Diego •30 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 21, 2024We had our wedding reception at this location in 1977. A lot has happened over the years. Floods have washed away parts of the golf course, buildings, and parking lots. Children and relatives have worked at the facility. Our church holds its annual Christmas party here. Needless to say, we have strong feelings about this resort and the people who work here. The breakfast menu is a bit sparse but with creative items on tap. If there's nothing to your fancy, ask; they can probably accommodate you. My favorite is the "Chicken and Waffles". All of the dishes are amazingly fresh and big enough to share. Prices are still on the cheaper side, compared to a typical breakfast out. The view of the golf course is serene, with trees, flowers and water features. You have the option of eating in the restaurant, on the back terrace or on the shady side patio adjacent to the full-service bar. The wait staff are amazing, with attentive service. It is rare to have to ask for a refill of anything. That usually only happens when there are several large family groups (be sure to reserve ahead so you won't be disappointed with a long wait). We can't say enough good things about The Red Tail. Try it.More infoRed Tail Bar & GrillPrice: Moderate• American• Crest•5
