Restaurants near Farmington Plaza Shopping Center

We came with my family and I was pleased at the menu choices. Everyone found something they liked which is not an easy task. The food was delicious. The wait staff was very helpful. We will definitely come back.

My experience at Benihana‘s on Valentine’s Day was outstanding. The food and service were great, but there was a severe parking problem. To be honest, there was no available parking slots around the restaurant. I’m not sure what they could’ve done to alleviate the problem? The only other issue was, it was difficult to understand the chef, there appeared to be a slight language problem. Overall, I was very satisfied and enjoyed the evening.

We received special treatment for our anniversary (not expecting anything out of the ordinary). Complimentary glass of wine and dessert went beyond. Service and food were great.

My college roommate form early 80's and I started reviewing restaurants in the Metro Detroit Area 4 years ago. We have hit 80% of all the top restaurants (over 120) and we both consider Café' Cortina in our top 2-3 restaurants. I am not sure that I would take children under 14 there, only because of the complexity of the menu/food, and it seems like most of the servers have strong accents that are not always easy to understand. With that said I love going there about every 4-5 weeks and trying something different each time. Last night I had lamb chops. They may have been the best I have ever had. I savored every bite. I have had lamb chops at many nice restaurants. There pasta's are all made in house and are always exciting to try a different one. Make sure you save room for desert, as their pastry chef makes some very unique and tasty treats. This is probably one of the least known restaurants in Metro Detroit, a hidden gem for sure.

We Love Mitchell’s in Livonia, MI. We were welcomed back. Brian was our Server, and we enjoy him so much. He is awesome! We had the Twin Tails Tuesday special, which was so delicious! Brian always make out day extra special. Thank you!
