My Wife and I have been going to the Keg for years and we love the food and the feel of the restaurant which makes it comforting and enjoyable. The menu has perfect combinations to your taste buds and drinks are great. You wont be disappointed and if you have any issues they are fast to fix. Thanks Keg for another great dinner and that special birthday desert you brought to the table with a candle and all. 12/21/24

Truly lovely dining experience with friends. We have always had good food here, but the service has been spotty. This time the service was exceptional and consistent with he quality of the food and ambience of this historic venue. Our server’s suggestion of the specialty pork belly dish to share was a hit with everyone at the table. Her service was quick and well timed. She had a good sense of when to let us enjoy our drinks and appetizers and when to appear to take our order. We all enjoyed the sablefish which was wonderfully done in a unique presentation with cabbage. The room is a little noisy. The grounds and hotel are festively decorated for the holiday making it a nice place to celebrate the season with friends.

The best part about our Christmas breakfast was sitting near the fireplace on a chilly morning, and the excellent service we received. The food was ok, not exceptional, We had the eggs benedict and one of us had the McMenamin's two egg breakfast. There was an overpowering smell of woodsmoke from outside (not the fireplace), and the music playing was Italian Opera played way too loudly.

As always, the food was phenomenal, the service (Dan and Cayden) were attentive, personable, and outright wonderful. Our ONLY issue was that there was an event going on upstairs that was so loud and obnoxious that I couldn't hear my own wife talking right next to me. The staff did what they could, but, as it was explained to us, given the separation between the two components (events and restaurant), the restaurant staff doesn't have any actual control over the events. If you're making a reservation, it is worth calling to ensure that they don't have an event going on upstairs at the same time.

Our servers were awesome and very accommodating. We were there to celebrate the one year anniversary of my consulting practice.
