Went here for a date night. They had an incredible special with a 24 oz porterhouse for two, it was the most delicious and well thought out meal that either of us have had in years. Everything from the service to the food to the drinks to the ambiance was incredible. I could not recommend it highly enough. Chris was our waiter, and he was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful throughout the whole night!

We went to Dancing Bear last evening to celebrate my husband's 81st trip around the sun! It is our go-to spot for all special occasions and when we just want to give ourselves a treat. Also, it is always the dining venue requested by family and friends who visit us in East TN. We had fried gulf oysters for our appetizer. They were excellent as was my entree of trout with grits and my husband's brined pork chop. Their staff is welcoming and personable - attentive without hovering. We had the added treat of being seated near the fireplace which was most welcome on a bitterly cold night. We love everything about the Dancing Bear - location, ambiance, service and especially the food. Not only do we love it but so does everyone we have ever treated to a meal there.

Great staff and very good, extensive menu. We sat near the fireplace -- very nice! This is a great restaurant to visit during the holidays as it's beautifully decorated. Highly recommended!

Conners is always great. However, the very expensive prime ribeye cap ($80) was just okay but not great like I expected. Just be aware if youre considering that cut. Get the bisque it's the best I've ever had.

We always love eating at Chesapeaks! Went for a birthday celebration with friends. Everything was great except for the main course. It was dry and tough and I'm talking about fish! We reported it to the server. Here comes the manager who remade our meal, then comped it and 2 desserts. The replacement meal was much better and we appreciate Chesapeaks for salvaging our meal and celebration! Thank you
