Restaurants near Ellsworth Park

We love going to Mr B’s It’s a great place but is pricey. The only reason I didn’t give them a 5 on all this time was due to management .. it’s a busy time of year, the place was really busy but they only had one bartender on staff and she was doing her best to keep up, the manager finally stepped in to help and the other staff took some of her tables. We still tipped as we always do but gave the bartender an extra something because she was clearly working hard at both taking orders for food AND bartending.

We always have a wonderful time at Moxie - the food is great, service personable and the bar is outstanding. Highest praise

My sister and I had a delicious lunch today at Mallards. We both had the jambalaya--terrific--and shared a piece of key lime pie. Our server was very attentive.

Food was great. Service was a little slow, but she tried! Will definitely come back. 

Oh. My. Goodness!! Kitchen & Kocktails, is so far the best. Very good food, drinks and service. Smiling hostess when we walked in and happily walked us to our table. We had the most delicious drinks. We had Drinks ordered were French Quarter Kiss, Lemon Drop Delight, 414 Ole Fashioned, and a Chardonnay (that not pictured). Then round 2 was A Strawberry Sip, and 2 beers. Food ordered was Appetizers: Fried Green Tomatoes Salmon Bites Entrees: Catfish, Fried chicken and Mac & Cheese, Shrimp and Grits, and Ox Tails and grits. Everything was just delicious. Tonight they had a dj playing ol' school music which was great. The drinks, and food were just amazing. Will definitely be retuning. I will say, make sure you have a reservation to make sure you're seated in a timely manner.
