Callie represents Chef Travis Swikard's debut solo project after spending a decade working alongside the esteemed Chef Daniel Boulud in New York City. The restaurant’s name, "Callie," comes from the Greek word "kallos," meaning "the most beautiful," and embodies its blend of Mediterranean cuisine with local ingredients and terroir, from sea to land from San Diego, Swikard's hometown.     Cocktails were phenomenal! I loved that the n/a cocktail tasted as good as a real one! Food was very good. Concept was really fun. Service was great, very fast, thoughtful and totally accommodating of our toddler! Great valenitne's day dinner for all three of us! I probably would have rated the food higher if it weren't for the fact that everything we've eaten in San Diego is amazing!!

    Fogo de Chao brought an amazing experience for me and my loved one this Valentine’s Day! It was amazing and I appreciate the fast, adequate service that they provided. Quick tip: Always make a reservation as you may never know the volume and crowd in the restaurant, it’ll help you out a ton! Different types of food with a beautiful vibe. They definitely treated us well and we would definitely go back again!

    My boyfriend and I came for an early Valentine’s Day dinner and we got a sangria and Old fashioneds which were great!!The food was AMAZING. The Parker house rolls, the mussels, the steaks 🤌🏼 The only negative thing I have to say is that because we had a later reservation (10:00) we felt pretty rushed to order our food, thus feeling rushed to leave. It didn’t negatively affect our experience too much because the food was so bomb but definitely expected a higher level of service (minus the bussers and food runners who were friendly and great).

    This is a 5 star experience! Our party of four tried four different cocktails, 12 different dishes and three desserts. Impossible to pick a favorite and impossible to select anything that was not exceptional. Additionally, the chef and team were super sensitive to serving any dishes that would be an allergy issue. So the food was glorious, the chef and team brilliant…yet the staff is what elevated the experience. From our two servers, their assistant, the sommelier and the front of house - one word - Brilliant. Best meal of the year winner
