Restaurants near Eastlake Square

Beautifully decorated, and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Not a place you’d go if you’re looking for a super romantic setting, but perfect for a Friday night date or a group of friends! We started with the crudité & pita…all 4 of the dips were great! Also had a 1/2 dozen oysters and again the sauces were excellent. We ordered the rack of lamb “for the table” and a side of risotto. The lamb was absolutely perfect!! I wanted to gnaw on the bones but somehow restrained myself. The risotto was tasty but slightly too al dente. For dessert we did the rolled baklava…another hit!!! Chris, our server, was fantastic. He took time to stop and actually carry on a conversation which is so rare these days. The only con of the night was the menu itself. Between the lighter color of the print, plus the teeny scale of the font, I had to take pictures on my phone then blow them up to be able to read the menu. I noticed others struggling to read it as well. Why make it difficult to order? There were plenty of other things on the menu we want to try. We’ll be back and this time I’ll bring my 2.0 readers. 😂

We went to Rooster and the Til before Covid and it was so memorable then we made a point to go again when we came back to Tampa from Philadelphia. It’s everything we remembered, an outstanding experience of unusual, delicious cuisine in a casual atmosphere

This place is excellent and this is coming from someone who lives in RI where we have some of the best Italian food . Definitely would go back . Service excellent too.

This is the first place I go when I visit Tampa. Everything on the menu is fantastic, but I highly recommend the gazpacho and 1905 salad for lunch. Both are prepared and served tableside.

Server was awesome!! Friday night they really need more then one bartender.
