Outstanding! Everything. I had the dinner special of Steelhead with rice pilaf and vegetables. Beautifully prepared and served. Super delicious. Extraordinary service. Items were brought and the beverages were refreshed without my asking. The waitress,Tracie, was so attentive, the entire meal was a total enjoyment.

We enjoyed our view of the lake, the quiet environment and the attentive service. The clam chowder was worth the trip all by itself. Timed with the hot popovers made it even more of a treat. I chose the Italian Prosecco instead of the Californian and it had a floral bouquet, very satisfying. I ordered the walleye and Minnesota wild rice with asparagus. All were cooked to perfection (and I’m not a fan of Minnesota wild rice, but when in Rome…). A relaxing, Midwest and Lake Superior experience.

A very pleasant dining experience.I received a very warm and friendly greeting as I stepped in. Great hospitality. Lindsay was my waitress and did an outstanding job. I had the Walleye Milanese. It was delicious and beautifully served.

I had no idea the restaurant on top of the ski hill was the quality it turned out to be. Easy car access. Nice selection of tap beers too. Makes me want to strap on my skis and make this a weekly pilgrimage.
