- VVernaOxford/Oxfordshire •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe restaurant was busy on Saturday night in the lead-up to Christmas, but it was easy to find. A little noisy, which was fully expected. Despite her hectic schedule, our restaurant attendant Anastasia was attentive and considerate of my dairy intolerance. The starters and main courses were delicious; however, I thought the dessert selection was limited for those who avoid dairy. We would be happy to return, as we had a wonderful experience.More infoThe Ivy Oxford BrasseriePrice: Moderate• Contemporary British• Oxford•4.5

We booked early after spending the day shopping and felt welcome and unhurried, although I’m sure they had a busy service. I also liked the layout - tables weren’t cramped together despite it being a compact venue. My oysters were spectacularly good, and my black bream main was cooked perfectly. My party also ate kidneys, rabbits and steak and had desserts. My chocolate dessert was a little one-dimensional, and the bread and sides were quite ambitiously priced for the quantity provided. However, overall, we thought this was a very enjoyable meal cooked and presented with evident skill and care.More infoNo1 Ship StreetPrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• Oxford•4.7
- BBenjaminBuckinghamshire •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoGreat food for vegetarians. The aubergine parmigiana is a must!!! Great portion size. Even when the restaurant is full the servers are always around to look after you. We’ve spent both of our birthdays with Gee’s this year and will be back many more times . Expect to pay a little more than some restaurants but it’s well worth it!More infoGeesPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Oxford•4.5

- DDavidWarwickshire •14 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoDelightful Christmas decorations at Quod as ever and lovely lively atmosphere but not at all too noisy, noisy as it sometimes can be. Delicious meal perfectly served; my beef carpaccio was sweet melt in your mouth lovely, my main of duck was rare as I like it, tender and tasty and the accompanying celeriac mash utterly delicious. A clementine sorbet to follow was perfect. Service was excellent (didn't catch the waiters name I'm afraid), so what more can you ask -it was quite expensive at £150 for two with wine and water as you might expect reflecting the quality!.More infoQuod Restaurant & BarPrice: Expensive• European• Oxford•4.5
