- JJohnWashington, D.C. Area •5 reviews4.0Dined 7 days agoFood was very good. Diverse and not exactly cohesive. Duck confit sitting next to a menu of burgers. But that is probably a good thing for where it is located. Anyone can find something on this menu. There is a full bar as well. Ambience also is a bit two-tone. Tablecloths and cloth napkins, but it doesn’t shake the “you are in a hotel” vibe. So not upscale, but certainly not diner. We would eat there again. Among the three of us we had Skirt steak with collards which was excellent. And two different burgers, both cooked to desired temp, and very good. Tater tots and onion rings were very good as well. Service was friendly and attentive. Go with confidence but be ready for casual atmosphere.More infoPreston'sPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Blacksburg•4.3
- DDrindaMemphis / West Tennessee •1 review4.0Dined on Jan 17, 2025The red snapper was good but became cold very quickly because the room is cold. Service was excellent. I asked for coffee & baileys but they only had decaffeinated & there was no offer to make regular coffee. My husband ordered a medium rare ribeye but it arrived very rare so he asked to have it cooked longer. It arrived cooked to medium rare but had so much fat & gristle that he sent it back & ordered the red snapper which took so long that I had finished dessert. They said the delay in the fish was because he had sent the ribeye back twice which made no sense. I ordered the eggnog cheesecake which was supposed to have caramel but didn’t but I did not mention it after the delay explanation. Lovely atmosphere & conscientious servers. However, this is out 2nd try here after a terrible 1st experience there. We try to give places a second chance, however, I doubt we will return.More infoBee & ButterPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Radford•4.5

He’s so knowledgeable about his wines, very gracious and his table side manner is delightful. Dining out would be more fun if the world had more guys like Ray working in restaurants!More info622 NorthPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Blacksburg•4.6
