Located in the culinary district of downtown Harrisonburg, VA in the building which formerly housed the Strand Theater. We are proud to be independently and locally owned. Clementine serves weekday lunch, weekend brunch and dinner every night on our main floor and patio (weather permitting) until at least 9PM. Mia Margherita’s coal-fired oven celebrates pizza in its original intention. Our pizza dough is made in house. Every pizza is hand stretched and tossed by our pizzaiolos in front of our guests. The intensity of the coal-fired heat allows us to produce a very light, beautifully crispy, Neapolitan-style pizza. Moisture is retained at the center of the pie, so it's slightly chewy, too, giving our customers the best of both worlds. Mia Margherita also serves a variety of classic Italian dishes. We use high quality and fresh ingredients throughout our kitchen including making our own Bolognese and marinara sauces.     This was our first time dining at Al Dente. Staff were very attentive and food was served hot & fresh. My husband’s Osso Buco was outstanding. From the mussels appetizer to the creme brûlée dessert, we were pleased our dining experience. Portions were generous and the prices reasonable. This place is a hidden gem tucked away in the lower level of the old Mountain Lodge.

    We had a fantastic time celebrating our parents anniversary at The Oxley House. A lovely and lively new restaurant in Elkins in the new Tygart Hotel. Welcoming! Yes! Cocktails before dinner? Well crafted by the amazing Mercedes. Service, well done! Filet… medium rare and cooked perfectly. Everyone had a great meal… brined pork chop, my filet, our mother’s trout and Dad’s burger. We saw groups of friends, families and couples on dates… a great restaurant for all of this. Very high quality food… and a good wine list too. Check out this great restaurant and let’s support them!
