The food, drinks and service were all excellent. We would highly recommend and look forward to another visit.More infoThe Murray ArmsPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Gatehouse of Fleet•4.6

- CClaireAyrshire •1 review4.0Dined 4 days agoWe really enjoy going to the blues restaurant and pavilion but just wish the food menu was to a better standard. It’s very unpredictable and depends on the chef, when it’s a decent chef the food is lovely. I chose the salt and chilli Asian king prawns with fries, the fries were cold and the main dish was basic for the price paid which was £18. The waiter took the fries back without any problem and the new ones were better. However, overall for that dish in particular, it was not worth the £18. The standard of food needs to be better… Husband got the steak pie which looked nice and he said tasted lovely - there needs to be a better standard of food served and shouldn’t depend on who the chef is…More infoBlues – at the parkPrice: Moderate• Modern European• Kilmarnock•4.7
- CCarolAyrshire •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoFirst time of visiting since changing to The Stravaig and we were bowled over at the changes. We were greeted upon entering and ushered thru to a booth which as a party of four was ideal for us celebrating our son's birthday ( we kept quiet about that!) Drinks and food orders taken quickly by pleasant and friendly staff. Cocktails were tasty , desserts super tasty and everyone enjoyed their mains . I knocked off one star for my meal which should have been haddock goujons and instead got a huge piece of battered haddock , so yes still fish but too much for me to eat as I have a small appetite .I am being picky and maybe being unfair at knocking off a star. However the meal was still tasty and we will certainly be back....maybe for lunch or breakfast as the menu's all looks fab.More infoThe StravaigPrice: Expensive• British• Ayr•4.7
