Located at Atherton Mill in Charlotte's historic South End neighborhood, Indaco (Italian for "indigo") serves Italian cuisine. Wood-fired pizzas, hand-crafted pastas, housemade salami and cured sausages fill the restaurant's menu which can be enjoyed family-style or a la carte. With an open kitchen, and a comfortable atmosphere, Indaco can seat approximately 85 guests inside for a casual night of food and drinks.     Our experience was nothing but amazing!!! Leini (idk if i’m spelling it right) was our server and was INCREDIBLE! Knew the menu so well and had great recommendations. Was very accommodating and took our preferences into consideration. Food was impeccable. Don’t skip on adding truffle to the potato purée!!

    If there was a .5 option I would’ve given 4.5 stars for food and value. The bread lacked flavor unfortunately—it could’ve used a better garlic butter glaze on top (tasted like the salt was missing from the dough). Alternatively a salted butter for the table could’ve been offered. Other than that, the food was amazing and the waitress had excellent recommendations. The butcher’s cut was amazing, creamed corn crème brûlée is a must. I’d go there again for any occasion.

    The food was amazing! We had an assortment of items from the menu and our expectations were exceeded for every single choice. From the Jerk Chicken Noodle Soup to the Southern Fried Chicken, Mac n Cheese, Jerk Lamb Chops, Cinnamon Roll Waffles... we're still trying to decide what our favorite part of the meal was - all of it was my favorite!

    It was a beautiful restaurant with a very professional and attentive wait staff. The food was excellent from appetizers to desserts. We were celebrating a birthday and they made us feel very special. Fun and festive atmosphere with private rooms behind glass doors.
