Restaurants near Country Inn & Suites Port Charlotte

Our meal at the Captain’s Table was truly wonderful. We were there for sunset and it was an incredible view. Our server, Lacy, was kind, knowledgeable and kept us updated on the status of our orders. Our group included a vegan who really enjoyed the fried green tomatoes (goat cheese in the side) and the generous serving of the roasted mushroom bowl. 2 of us had the Captain’s Platter and the seafood was cooked perfectly. The other person had the grouper and they loved it. Yes, it is a little more expensive than some of the other restaurants nearby, but none of them serve such perfectly prepared, high-quality food, such a beautiful ambiance and have such well-trained servers. Totally worth the money.

We were 8 friends enjoying dinner and conversation. We had the best wait staff, she could not have been more helpful. She brought a round of sample wines for us all to taste. One of the couples decided to join the wine club (we are current members). They were so impressed with the food and staff. Ever time we go, we thoroughly enjoy our dining experience.

The food was good and the service top notch. There were gluten free options you don’t usually see like the ravioli. The Wednesday wine specials were an unexpected surprise.

We visited The Perfect Caper to celebrate Mom's 87th birthday and could not have had a better experience. As usual, the food, service and cocktails were fabulous. We have now visited several times and have never been disappointed. I made reservations for Valentine's Day in December to ensure we could treat our visiting granddaughter to a lovely dinner. If you have yet to go, you need to go ahead and make your reservations.

Girls night out! Always a great dining experience at Cooper Hawk. Food is amazing, wine and cocktails great. (I had sweet red) Wait staff always wonderful. Atmosphere was unexpectedly quiet and we were ok with that. Never feel rushed even when it’s busy. Started with Brussels sprouts of course, followed by filet, Mary’s potato, asparagus, and Ellie’s chicken piccata. All the girls loved their meals. Delicious! All of Cooper Hawks dishes are amazing! Thank you again for another great dining experience.
