Marche, located in Eugene, Oregon, opened in August 1998. The restaurant, which seats 80 guests, has an exhibition kitchen featuring a beautiful wood-fired oven. There is also a stylish bar and a large outdoor dining area, covered with awnings and umbrellas and surrounded by a garden of herbs and edible flowers. Marche takes its name from the French word for market – a word that describes our location in the bustling 5th street Market and more importantly, our philosophy of cooking.     Our steak was cooked perfectly, as were the other items we ordered from the menu. We enjoyed being able to order from both the fixed menu and the regular one. Our Christmas Eve was once again made special by everyone at Marche. Merci!

    Finally a worthy White Linen Restaurant in Eugene with a cuisine Eugenians can appreciate !! This is not a typical Strip Mall Steak House. Wonderful service from kind ingratiating wait staff who care about your experience and cater to your needs! Our waiter expertly recommended to us how the cut of each steak should be ordered for optimal flavor. The comforting and satisfying sides were beautifully served and dished out for us adding to our feelings of being taken care of! My husband and I enjoyed a romantic Christmas Evening dinner in one of their nicely appointed private booths. Understand the price is absolutely appropriate for the experience! You will not regret it!!!

    Imagine you are traveling and run across a casino/rv property in a small town southern oregon. You may think bigfoot, or loggers, or truckers, and you'd be right! Among all of that is a steakhouse called Kbar. This steakhouse is located in the Seven Feathers casino(which is also a great find), and this steakhouse will treat you so well that you will walk away with a 5 star feeling. They have great staff (pro tip ask for Bobby as your server) very approachable setting, and most of all excellent beef, and they own the Ranch it comes from locally.
