Frankie's downtown is a classic steakhouse. Predictable. Pricey, 2 of us with just a couple sides and the bill was over $300. Worth it for special occasion BUT not a steady diet for sure even when money doesn't matter in my view.

Excellent food and service as always. Our server was very attentive and not hovering over us. The manager even came by and talked to us for a Bit. Always a good experience at Billy’s.

Great food. Very friendly staff. Food was slightly late, but we didn’t really notice it until the staff apologized. We were just enjoying the atmosphere. Excellent service. Great staff.

Hannah waited on our table. She did an outstanding job. Attentive to all the details. Knew the menu well!!! The only issue was that I made a reservation for 4 and they had the reservation for two. I did not have my phone to check the reservation. Once I was home I found the reservation on this app and I did indeed make a reservation for 4. However, the staff worked out their mistake and got a table for 4 at 7pm rather than 6:15 pm we had requested. After this little bump in the ‘road’ we had a wonderful experience at Frankie Rowlands! Food was incredible!

The food and atmosphere are always great. You can always count on a number of menu items and there are always 1 or 2 new things to try every few months. Fortunato is our favorite Italian Restaurant in Roanoke and is part of our dining rotation (which means we are there 5 or 6 times a year). We are never disappointed, especially when Trevor is our waiter. We always order the bread service and flip between the Frito Misto (Calamari) and the Burratta for appetizers. My wife tried their new swordfish dish which was excellent, I had the Risotto and our grown son had the Tagliatelle Bolognese. We also had some great cocktails but skipped dessert.
