I love Friar Tucks. It's a great getaway for a nice night out and my friends love it as well. The food is consistently outstanding, the wait staff are competent and very welcoming! We enjoy the entertainment as well. It's a personal favorite!

Our server was exceptional! Her name I believe is Mira Bella that may not be right but hopefully it is close. She is great!!

Day after Christmas birthday dinner. Wife's choice. Loves this place. Have never had a bad meal here. great service. pleasant ambience with just enough background noise to muffle conversations but not require one to raise their voice to be heard. Food was fabulous as expected. Salad, lobster bisque (Spicy finish) Steak for the lady and Short Ribs for me. Dessert on the house was a skillet brownie with vanilla ice cream. Tres' bon! Robert our waiter was agile and responsive and a joy to have served. 5 Stars

Gar Woods was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We sat at a window overlooking the lake with a beautiful Christmas tree nearby. Our food was delicious and we had very good cocktails with a large list to choose from. They have a very good food menu to choose from-from burgers and sandwiches to prime rib and fish. Our server was very sweet and kind but she must have had a lot of tables because we waited long stretches to get her attention to get more drinks and dessert. But it was Christmas and the place was packed. We will definitely go back again.

Best restaurant experience we have had in a while! Food was incredible, service was great, place was packed for xmas eve but it felt festive and fun. The kid drinks were super cute / kids loved the kids menu and we felt like the kiddos were welcome but still felt like the restaurant was cool and would be a good date night, too. The risotto and the salmon were incredible and the drinks were fun and good. Skipped dessert as we were full - reason to come back :)
