Great food. Good value. Creative menu catering for everyone including vegans. Good atmosphere. We were celebrating a birthday. The staff brought our desserts with a firework candle for the birthday girl. Lovely touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Bill’s restaurant in Reading. Thank you :)

having been to LSB several times, each being lovely, this was no disappointment The food is great, slightly quirky, and the service friendly and polite I don't believe in giving 5 stars as that doesn't leave anywhere to go for the 'exceptional' - but LSB comes very close

Another gorgeous meal at Clays. We were out with a vegetarian friend and she was delighted to have so much choice (happy meat eaters, too).

This is a brilliant place for a steak meal. Best steak I've had as far as I can remember; beats other steakhouses any day. Didn't need the blue cheese sauce (dunked my fries in it instead), just sprinkled some salt on the steak. The beef empanadas starters were delicious too. We went for lunch midweek so didn't have to book although I had beforehand just in case (wife's birthday!). I could imagine how popular they would be in the evenings. Tasty unobtrusive decor, leather themed place mats, comfy chairs, excellent service. Luckily we were on the upper floor so not subjected to raucous company downstairs. However they were so loud the noise floated up the stairwell otherwise it would have been splendidly quiet. I will definitely go again. It's restimulated my steak palate.

My brother and I took my Dad out for a birthday lunch. We had to reschedule to meet in Reading last minute and Cote had availability. We arrived at 1.30pm and got given a choice of tables, we chose a lovely round table by the window and had such a lovely lunch. The service was immaculate, really attentive without being too much, food was delicious and delivered in good time but not too quick, and the ambiance was excellence. The maitre d’ clearly took pride in running a slick service and really couldn’t have asked for more! Fantastic, thank you.
