In 2017 Holly and Ali moved down to Plymouth for a new life away from London. Passion for all things pizza and years of hospitality life brought about Knead pizza.Starting in Plymouth market and honing our skills to try and work out our perfect pizza. We moved into The LHA garden in 2019 due to that thing we wont mention and started cooking with flame. We got ever closer to cracking and adapting the truest of neopolitan style dough into a perfectly soft, neo neapolitan light and flavoursome crust.Now after a stroke of luck we’ve moved to the amazing Prysten House 1498. Delicious food. The pork belly was glorious. The waiter was kind, polite and always attentive to our requests. The reservation was easy and the restaurant was less than a half full, so we could get a table by the window. Ambience was quiet and warm. Cocktails were good as well. Tiramisu was too creamy for my taste but not too sweet. We would come back for another special occassion.

What a top spot. We went for brunch & took our dog. We were all greeted with such warmth & friendliness. The setting is quirky & interesting, the ambience was laid back & cosy. My scrambled egg was cooked perfectly & my husband’s full English was (in his words) the best he’s had in ages! Great Bloody Mary’s too. We will definitely be returning, next time to try their lunchtime menu, which sounds delicious.

It starts with the ingredients. The ingredients were excellent quality and the food was amazing. Local Salcombe beers and ciders complimented local seafood.
