- CCount AlexeiVIPNew York City •107 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOne of the most special people in my life flew across the world to come and see me for a few days. And there was only one place I wanted to share the first day together with and that was at this wonderful restaurant. I always find Sundays tricky at restaurants, but I knew this one would not disappoint me. The ever changing eclectic menu, carefully crafted - was as usual - filled with wonderful choices and when our meal came out only one word comes to mind ..wow! The other test of a good place is what happens when the key manager is not there-not to worry here. The staff absolutely are a team- quietly and efficiently making it all happen. The service absolutely on it The vibe in the restaurant - authentic, relaxed - and chilled out ..just as it should be - seemingly effortless … I’ve said this before and I can only say it again this truly is the best restaurant in Williamsburg. Sorry Missy. Sorry everyone else. You’ve got a long way to go. Which makes me wonder - Why aren’t they on the top 50 New York list? Lazy journalists maybe? Go! Truly And no- I don’t hold shares in the place , although I wish I didMore infoAurora - WilliamsburgPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Williamsburg•4.7
- LLauraVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •7 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThe River Cafe is probably the most beautiful and maybe the best restaurant in NYC. The views are stunning and the service without comparison. We had the vegetarian menu which was varied and delicious . There were a number complimentary “ gifts” from the chef in addition to the amuse bouche . The bread was excellent, beet salad was prepared table side , I had the truffle risotto and my companion the simple pasta dish which was also delicious . We both had the signature dessert - the Brooklyn bridge . I can recommend this restaurant highly . It’s expensive but worth every cent.More infoThe River CafePrice: Very Expensive• American• DUMBO•4.9

Our server was so helpful walking us through the options and the overall vibe was relaxed, yet felt fancy. We will be returning to sample more on the menu. - FFrancisNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 10, 2024The food was surprisingly good and the service was absolutely amazing. I love the way the arepitas are resented so I don’t have to choose one. The monkfish and short rib were also a nice surprise.More infoCasa OraPrice: Expensive• Venezuelan• Williamsburg•4.6
