$5 drink special was amazing- ya know, in this economy every little consideration helps! We had the bloody mary. Brie Appetizer was good too- loved the fruit. I had the smoked chicken thighs- what great flavor and charred/grilled cabbage....Ummm, we will be making the cabbage at home so good. Hubs had the short rib- he advised it was really good- well charred. Our only complaint is that the decor of 6th has gone from a kitschy artsy vibe to a bit tired and sad. We sat in the back which was not super appealing.

Everything was fabulous. Realized when we got home that I never got my added on lobster tail so I called them uo and they took care of it. Portions were so great I forgot I even ordered it. Would definitely come back again next time we are in town!

Dinner for my husband’s Bday was one of the best we’ve ever had in WS. Harrison is an amazing chef with such creative ideas and pairings, I’m always amazed. The soup (butternut squash and apple this time) is my starter every time- always puréed perfection. The wait staff always knows wines and drinks to suggest or to help us decide. Even a California rosé for this rosé snob hit the mark! I had the scallop special and finding the right words is a challenge. Sweet, tender scallops with a hint of herby citrus, earthy capers and micros. etc. with Pancetta vinaigrette? Who even knew that was a thing? This dish is absolutely a top fave for me. Hubs had Filet Oscar and couldn’t rave enough. We were stuffed but couldn’t resist the white chocolate, chai crème brûlée with homemade marshmallow fluff (lightly toasted- yum!) and a ginger cookie on the side. We were so happy & full! Everything truly was perfect. Highly recommend any or all of the above! We can’t wait to return to Downtown Grille!

Fantastic experience. We sat on the patio which was a little bit cool but the heaters were a great compromise and this is the only reason the ambience didn’t get a full 5 Stars like everything else did. Mel the server was excellent and deserves 6 Stars. She is a true professional and it shows in the attentive nature of her service without being annoying. Not sure which was better- the obvious premium quality of the meat or Mel’s service, but both were excellent. Can’t wait to revisit this little Gem soon.

Very good selection of classic Italian dishes. The food was delicious and the drinks were excellent.
