Ryan's Chef creates a tantalizing selection of appetizers such as jumbo lump crabmeat, steamed mussels in garlic butter and white wine, and oysters Rockefeller. Entrees range from thick, juicy steaks and prime rib to the finest grilled fresh fish and live Maine lobster. Choose from the menu or a superb selection of specials offered nightly. Add a cappuccino and a freshly made dessert to seal the dining experience. The restaurant has been locally owned and under the same management since 1981. Ryan's has been awarded the Wine Spectator's "Award of Excellence" and is often featured in national publications. Greeted at the store and seated immediately by a very nice young lady. Our server, James, was exceptional; answered all questions (it was my first time there.) The food was served in a timely manner, hot, and delicious!

It was good. Waiter was a little forgetful. Had to remind him to bring our lobster bisque. Asked for salt n pepper twice. Told waiter we were celebrating birthdays and he promised to take care of it and did not.

We were visiting Winston Salem and checked out Sage and Salt Bistro after reading reviews on Open Table. Our dinners were delicious (particularly the tuna tower, salmon and the lamb). We loved the quiet small aspect of the restaurant and will definitely come back when we are in town again. The Uber driver did have trouble finding the front of the restaurant (it is little confusing) and also there seem to be two different Sage and Salt restaurants - one is more of a large bar with food and music and the other located next door is the small restaurant.
