They married and began to envision that someday they would open a restaurant of their own. The restaurant’s first business plan was written at their dining room table on an electric typewriter. In 1988 Linwoods opened its doors, and it has been a labour of love for more than thirty years. Linwoods’ cuisine consists of the freshest ingredients, and inventive preparation. Our service is warm and attentive. We have developed a reputation for consistency an attention to detail. These qualities are key to our catering business as well. Went on a Wednesday at 5:15 and sat at the corner table near the kitchen. We had the chicken pie and the pork ribs with mashed potatoes and green beans. The rib dinner was enough for 2 people to split. Our waitress was very good and we had everything we needed.

What a memorable meal! Not surprised at all, as Linwoods is the best when it comes to a consistently delicious dining experience. Molly our server was superb. If you have never been, you must come and experience it for yourself!

Food was great, service good, lighting was not the great in some spots of the restaurant. Sitting by the windows at night time they had all the lights off inside so it was harder to see the menu and your food. Other than the lighting/ambience leaving something to be desired, the place is great and food is some of the best in the area!
