Dukes 92 was originally a stable block for the horses delivering foods off barges to the Merchants warehouse opposite. From these humble begininngs the building now houses Manchester's original bar and grill which has been refurbished and extended three times since its opening in 1991 the space today is informal and airy with the buildings heritage being reflected in a subtle blend of antique furniture and modern fixed seating.With its most recent refurbishment Dukes can now properly call itself a venue with two bars, three private events spaces, a grill restaurant, excellent smoking facilities, canalside terrace and balcony overlooking the canal basin.     Amazing experience at Kitten! Staff were lovely and the food was exceptional. Only thing I’d say is the food came out very fast. We ordered 6 items and they all came out within 15 mins of ordering. Drinks came after the food so would prefer for it to have been slowed down a bit and it to come out in stages but other than that it was fabulous and would come again. Thank you so much

    The food was lovely, the only thing that made it a very odd experience is that, when we asked for cutlery, the waiter brought over 3 cardboard forks and one metal knife, and told us we would have to share it??? Bit weird that he couldn't just bring over 2 more knives. It wasn't THAT busy. Why did we have to share the communal knife around to eat?? 😂😂

    Me, my boyfriend and my best friend Paul and his boyfriend Kai had a meal here to say goodbye to Paul as he is moving to Gran Canaria with his boyfriend. What fabulous staff you have there, honestly, they are so lovely and down to earth, attentive but not overbearing, 100% deserve a bonus. The food was delicious, absolutely spot on, fabulous deal in for January, everything on the menu is outstanding. The cocktails are fabulous too. I only selected the noise as moderate because we were the 4 loud people in there!! Well done guys, keep up the good work, me and my boyfriend will be back soon!
