Had a lovely time! Everyone was super nice and the staff was wonderful. The only thing I would say is the lighting of the restaurant is all over the place. If you fix that you have a great restaurant ;)

As a cook and restauranteur I found a hidden gem! Fantastic experience! Highly recommended. They have their own fermented beverages. Wait staff was phenomenal specially a male waiter who gave us their tamarind tepache. Food blew my mind! Congrats

My girlfriend and I dined here for the last meal of our trip. At this point in the trip we had been to several fine dining restaurants but in terms of flavors and value Esquina Comun absolutely stood out. Their menu is small and it is suggested that 2 people split one of every dish which we went along with. This process wound up perfect as we left full and were able to sample all of the different flavors. While smokiness was definitely a theme in each dish, every dish was bursting with unique flavors. The standouts were the tostada, the rabbit and the wagyu. The wait staff was incredibly helpful and were bilingual which was a big plus. The best aspect is this cost about half the amount of the other Michelin restaurants we dined at. I HIGHLY recommend trying this restaurant and would get your reservation as soon as they open (60 days out I believe).

Highly recommend. Great location and a modern, nice restaurant, with a decent-sized menu. We had bloody Mary’s and a couple of pastries to start, then two meals. I had the fried eggs over potatoes topped with jam and cheese, which was just as good as it sounds. My wife had the mushroom toast with a side of sausage, which were equally great. Our server was great and happy to speak English with us. Not sure how busy it would be on a weekend, but there was plenty of tables available at 10am on a Monday.
