The Lexington is more than a restaurant, it’s an institution. Located on the corner of Lexington Parkway and Grand Avenue, this St. Paul community was the most fashionable at the turn of the 19th century. The St. Paul elite lived just blocks away and the first electric trolley brought visitors up and down Grand Avenue. The Lexington opened in 1935, after the end of prohibition, and was a popular neighborhood bar to gather and socialize. Previously operating as a speakeasy, the expansive wood panels were perfect for hiding a little booze and one can only imagine the shenanigans going on beyond the hidden staircase behind the coat check. For decades following, The Lex, as it’s called by locals and enthusiasts alike, was the place to be seen; business dealings, cocktail hours, and milestone celebrations were a regular occurrence for St. Paul socialites.

We have many vegetarian options and proudly serve the Beyond Burger which is clean vegan. We carry gluten-free buns and many of our items can be ordered to accommodate a gluten-free or gluten sensitive diet. The 'Wick Pub & Grill also features a wonderful Saturday-Sunday brunch, available from 10a-2pm. The menu features a Family Style, all you can eat brunch. Don't worry, if you're not that hungry we feature some lighter dishes like our Maryland Crab Cake Benedict or Breakfast Sandwich.

    Overall, an enjoyable visit. The food was fresh and menu offered a wide variety of options for every pallete with a fresh, unique and creative ingredients beautifully assembled and presented. Service was great with frequent checkbacks, refills and a good pace to the meal. Dining room was clean and well-maintained. My only issue with this visit was the noise in the dining room. The acoustics were loud and it was difficult to hear normal conversation at my table. I would recommend the restaurant explore options to improve sound dampening for a quieter, more enjoyable dining experience. I'll be back!

    Have always been pleased with the food and cocktails at Hazelwood. The only thing I would comment about negatively is that my dish was $10 more than everybody else’s, but smaller than everybody else’s. Parmesan crusted walleye. All the food and appetizers were absolutely incredible though. The cocktails were as well. A perfect place to meet friends and expect to have good food and drink no matter what you order.
