- TTerriWashington, D.C. Area •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoOverall, we had a fantastic experience in our group of 6 a nd would recommend a visit. Everything was delicious that our group tried. Among the favorites were the bahn mi meatballs (though small and few), eggplant bulgogi, lobster croquettes, veal chop, bucatini, potato puree, Brussels sprouts, broccolini. Our server and entire staff were great, friendly, and attentive. Choosing your own steak knife seemed a little pretentious. The room noise level did get a little loud, so it became difficult to hear across a large table despite being in a back corner.More infoEmber & RyePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Carlsbad•4.6
- JJaimeVIPSan Diego •3 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe absolutely love the ambiance here! The design and layout of the entire place is beautiful and spacious. I feel like they need a couple more fire pits outside so stay warm by. Its nice to arrive early and have a cocktail from the market around the fires. Grab some farm fresh items and freshly baked treats, sweet little market. The Haven restaurant upstairs is very nice and the service is top notch. The food is most certainly farm fresh and prepared wonderfully. We loved the prawns and hummus apps. I would say the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the meat both times I've been here. The short ribs were dry and a bit gamey because its grass fed, carrot finished beef. And the pork belly was tough and chewy, not sure why on that one. I prefer both to be bit more tender and juicy. The wine list here is also fairly eclectic, perhaps a few more known wines could be added. Other than that we enjoy this place very much and will be back to try more dinners!More infoHavenPrice: Expensive• Californian• Encinitas•4.4
