- VVanessavipNew York City •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a lovely dining experience. Order Chilean sea bass, Surf & Turf and ended with apple crumble for dessert. We were very pleased with our meal and cocktails: dirty martini and espresso martini. The staff here is absolutely amazing and so accommodating! Great ambiance too. I highly recommend and we will be back!More infoAZAR Open Fire CuisinePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Aruba•4.7
- MMartyCaribbean •1 review4.0Dined 2 days agoThe food, atmosphere and service were exceptional, but the drunken neighbors at the resort adjacent to the restaurant were very obnoxious, and the mosquitoes were horrible. The restaurant did provide us with bug spray and once applied it did help. We were told that during the wet season the mosquitoes can get pretty bad and we did go in November. - JJocelynToronto / Ontario •3 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWhat an unforgettable way to end our final night in Aruba! From the ambiance to the food and service, everything exceeded our expectations. It was hands down the best service we've experienced on the island, and we all agreed that this spot was the highlight of our trip. It made for a truly special place to celebrate my son's birthday. Despite a heavy rainfall earlier in the day, we were pleasantly surprised to receive bug spray, ensuring a mosquito-free dinner — a thoughtful touch that we truly appreciated.More infoPassions on the BeachPrice: Expensive• Caribbean• Aruba•4.7
- CCathyChicago / Illinois •12 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 19, 2024This is our 12th time to Aruba and we always go to Madame Janette! When we arrived, the hostess mentioned our seating request and noted which table we had on our previous visit, asking if we wanted the same table! (A year ago) Our meal started with a couple of different German lagers (their beer menu is several pages long…). We chose lobster ravioli as our appetizer, and it was delicious. We both picked the almond grouper as our main course and we loved it; the topping of ribboned carrots and creamed spinach was yummy. Each dinner came with a side, so we chose creamed spinach and potatoes augratin. The portion sizes are generous. We have enough leftovers for a meal today. They also bring focaccia bread with two dipping sauces to the table as you enjoy a drink before ordering. One sauce was an oil/onion/chili pepper, and the other was garlic butter. Both were excellent…just try to not fill up on it before dinner! The service is attentive, and they’ve introduced an extra feature…there is a light on the table that provides a nice glow, and when you flip it, the light turns red. Within a minute of flipping it to red, someone will come to your table to address your needs (another drink, order dessert, get the check, etc). Excellent idea!! I wish more restaurants would do it. Make your reservations in advance - I normally book reservations before we fly in.More infoMadame JanettePrice: Very Expensive• International• Aruba•4.7
- EEricPhiladelphia County •3 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 18, 2024Definitely a must visit while in Aruba if you want a special meal. Highlights - Much of menu is sourced from local vendors - Urvin is an extremely hospitable chef and explains every dish to the guests himself - Appropriate amount of food for the price. We were satisfied but not uncomfortably full - dishes themselves were pretty inventive even as someone who enjoys tasting menus when traveling - quail dish with fried rice was definitely the highlight course - cocktails were good Only point of critique is that I did not feel the service was 10/10, but not enough to make the meal less than the 5 star ratingMore infoInfini ArubaPrice: Very Expensive• International• Aruba•4.9
