Rengaya has been serving YAKINIKU in North Sydney since 1993, making it one of Australia’s pioneering Japanese barbeque restaurants. Now, that tradition is set to continue at its new digs on Miller Street – just a short stroll from the original location – in a much more modern, striking setting. The new fit-out features bar-counter seats around an open kitchen, red booth seating divided by Japanese-style timber panelling and a hard-to-miss chandelier. There’s also a 20-seat private dining room. We use only the finest ingredients such as Japanese Black Cattle made in Australia for beef, Sashimi and Seafood fresh from the sea.     The staff at Clam Bar made last night so memorable for us all. The table was perfect - a booth in the back of the restaurant that comfortable sat us all. Felt like we were in downtown New York amongst the wood panelling and jazz music. The service was wonderful, the food exceptional. We will be back.

    Amazing experience, we had the tomahawk and it was seriously impressive. Best steak EVER and the broccolini and halloumi salad like a taste sensation! So good!! It was busy but we felt like we were the only ones there, the service was excellent, even my 11 year old was treated like a VIP. Was just a fantastic experience all round. We will be back 😁
