Izakaya Den is Denver’s popular Japanese gastropub, modeled after the lively after hours establishments found throughout Japan. Appreciated the two included plates of sandwiches, as we were still hungry after one. Atmosphere was lively and fun. You could tell the restaurant was running like a well oiled machine for Valentines Day but it honestly added to the ambiance for us, as the servers were polite but not obtrusive, and didn’t try to upsell us on anything we didn’t want. Dessert plate was a little too sweet for our palates but was still enjoyable, overall experience was great. Would do again next year.
