I have Celiac Disease, so going out to eat can oftentimes be a challenge with few to no gluten-free (GF) options and/or uneducated staff. Carson's was absolutely on top of everything from having clearly labeled menu items and educated servers. The servers also had cards that detailed which items were gluten-free as-is and which truly needed modifications. I'm traveling for business and came here with my team, we all had a great evening with delicious food, an absolutely gorgeous atmosphere, and great drinks (cocktails and mocktails). The noise level can vary depending on where you're seated, but it was relatively quiet in my opinion. I will definitely return, the Oscar medallions were amazing.

Absolutely fantastic meal and drinks! My only complaint was that we were seated at a table next to the open air window, and the loud motorcycles periodically made conversation a bit difficult. Otherwise, a great experience, wonderful service, and a delicious meal. Highly recommended!

Very nice dining experience. Brought my Mother for her 93rd birthday and everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The food and service was excellent in a nicely preserved landmark.

Boone Tavern is always a lovely and beautiful experience. Our hostesses and servers were knowledgeable, friendly and polite. We enjoyed the traditional "chicken flakes" and the Cajun chicken which were both absolutely delicious. We appreciate everything that Berea College and Boone Tavern does for their students!
