Serop's is the pioneer of Chicken Shawarma (see picture left or above on mobile) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The earliest form of Serop's opened in Baton Rouge in 1979. Chicken Shawarma was a staple of the Greek and Lebanese restaurant scene in the beginning and is still a popular menu item today. Chicken Shawarma (marinated Chicken Breasts) and Gyros (a mixture of Beef and Lamb), both healthy and delicious, are slow-roasted vertically and basted with olive oil, garlic, and spices. What started with one restaurant in Baton Rouge in 1979 has grown to 7 restaurants in the Greater Baton Rouge area; and we're still growing!     Were we’re the for lunch and celebrating a birthday. Food was delicious. Olivia was/is an outstanding server, ask for her! The mountain slice of carrot cake was loved by all. BRQ is a staple in our repertoire of Baton Rouge restaurants. We can’t get back soon enough.

    Excellent as always! My friend had Duck Confit and I had speckled trout special with risotto and sweet potatoes and beets! We both loved our dishes! Always impressed with Eliza’s farm to table menu, the quality and delicious preparation of each dish!

    The best marinara sauce I've had anywhere ever. The grouper is outstanding. Ask for Howard for excellent service. Love piano is a wonderful accent to the experience. Always a pleasure.

    Incredible food, love the ambiance and quiet atmosphere. Such a refreshing change from loud, busy restaurants. Service was impeccable. We had the crawfish mac n cheese for a fun starter. Fabulous! Husband had the seafood linguine- off the charts! I had the lobster roll. Very good, one thing is that I wished it had been served warm instead of cold. Fries were very crisp and unusually flavorful. Highly recommend!
