All of the food was delicious and everyone enjoyed the selection of fresh fish, shellfish, and steak entrees. The drinks were also excellent as everyone enjoyed the cocktails and wine. The view was beautiful and the dining area was quiet for carrying on conversation. A special shout out to Sydney our server for doing an outstanding job and providing a complementary dessert for a Birthday celebration. We will definitely be returning for our next family celebration.More infoMonterey Bay Fish Grotto - Mt. WashingtonPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Mt. Washington•4.7

It is such a beautiful place, reminiscent of old world grandeur, elegance, and finesse. You absolutely cannot find more exquisite food anywhere else at Thanksgiving. Their buffet offers an amazing variety of dishes at a reasonable price! Their attention to detail and their exceptional client service makes our Thanksgiving celebration there a truly phenomenal and delightful experience! A special shout out to Herbert, Moses, Cole, and Jesse, our exceptional servers! We have become family and we look forward to enjoying Thanksgiving dinner there every year! To all who work so hard to make this memorable for everyone who attends, a heartfelt thank you! And to the chefs, your food is nothing less than perfection!More infoGrand ConcoursePrice: Moderate• Seafood• Downtown•4.4
- MMISTY LYNNENew York City •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoThis was our first visit to Del Frisco’s and it won’t be our last. Our server, Jake, started the dinner off right, with great energy and enthusiasm - he made great drink recommendations with little information to go on (I had no idea what I wanted and he absolutely nailed it), and did a great job of managing my food allergies in a way that didn’t make me feel like a burden. There were a few menu items that I couldn’t eat because of my soy allergy, but the alternate suggestions were fantastic. DO order the octopus - though the portion was small compared to everything else, it was still shareable. And definitely do the butter cake at the end - I expected it to be “just a pound cake,” but somehow it was magical! The atmosphere was upscale but not fussy - another plus - and considering it was Thanksgiving, the staff seemed to run like a well oiled machine, without any extended wait times for refills or our meals. Enjoy!More infoDel Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse - PittsburghPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.8
- AAnnevipPittsburgh / Western PA •44 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe opted for the calamari before delving into a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner. The calamari was absolutely perfect. I think I shall always get this dish at Capital Grille! Thanksgiving Dinner was good as these things go. My husband thought it was excellent. Turkey and gravy were excellent, as was cranberry chutney, we both agreed on that. We disagreed on stuffing. It was wet, and I like mine more crunchy, so that was just a matter of preference. But I wish they had had a bit of both! Green beans with almonds were always good; I did not try the mashed potatoes yet - I won’t try them until the leftovers we have tonight or tomorrow. As to the sweet potatoes we ordered, I was really looking forward to them, and I was really disappointed. Their consistency was like mushy baby food - worse than applesauce - that I can’t imagine even a baby would even eat them because they were so horribly sweet. Really, they made the hair on the back of my neck stand up on end. I only tried two fork fulls (the second one was just to confirm that what I first tasted was in fact as bad as I had thought - sorry Capital Grille, but this one was a definite loser). We did not take any home. My husband talked me out of telling the waiter how bad I thought they were… I’m not sure why. If the chef thought they were good enough to send out, I don’t know what he was thinking… My husband had cheesecake for dessert. I snacked on its decorative berries. Dessert of course got an A+. So all in all, except for the sweet potato mash up, another excellent meal at Capital Grille. They told us they expected to sell 1100 turkey dinners before the day was through. That’s a LOT of turkey!!! THANK YOU TO ALL THE SERVERS AND COOKS AND CHEFS AND STAFF THAT MADE TODAY POSSIBLE!!! We totally appreciate your efforts and your sacrifices by being at work today!More infoThe Capital Grille - PittsburghPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.9
