Highly recommended as it was to us, food was excellent and staff were friendly and helpful and polite.

I have dined at Cafe 1 since it opened, too many years to remember. I have always told people (all people) that the best restaurant in Inverness is Cafe 1. I will reach my 70th year in a few weeks time and still hold the same opinion. It is not just a place to enjoy good food. It is the whole experience that is first class. Second to none. My wife, Frankie, and I were there for dinner a week ago. Frankie doesn’t do dairy so dessert is often a problem when eating out. Unfortunately the menu had been changed and the solution, a beautiful prosseco jelly with fruit, wasn’t available. 😢. Last night we we’re booked in for dinner with some friends. What was on the specials menu? Prosecco Jelly of course!! Just ask yourself how many establishments would go to that trouble just to make a couple of pensioners happy. We had a nice meal at Dalfaber. The food was good but the service was slow. The staff tried their best and said it was busy, but the restaurant was anything but full.

Booked a late dinner that day after arriving in aviemore. Lovely restaurant. Very nicely laid out with good lighting. Food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Such a relaxed and friendly place. Good value too. Would recommend highly.

Good food. Friendly and attentive waiters. Very accommodating chef (he modified a dish for us).
