- JJulievipChicago / Illinois •35 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoBest meal we have had in a long time! We had crab cake Caesar, pizza, and chocolate souffle and we ate every crumb. Portions were huuuuge! Everything we saw come out of the kitchen looked delicious and hearty. The menu was more extensive than the one online. All the pizzas sounded great. Prices were extremely reasonable, service was friendly and helpful and no pressure to order wine/drinks, despite an extensive selection. The decor and ambience reminded us of a contemporary restaurant we visited in Rome. We waddled out with a food buzz.More infoModesto TrattoriaPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Asheville•4.6
- BBonnieRaleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill •8 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoOur birthday celebration meal was so perfect! Our food was delicious- Margherita pizza with the thinnest crispy crust, the green weeds salad we shared, and the little Carmelo pasta was a real treat with the added balsamic addition. All of the pasta, made in house, was al dente with perfect amounts of sauce. But the staff at Luminosa was, as always, exemplary in their attentiveness, knowledge of the menu items, and kindness. They make this wonderfully historic space worth coming often, which I have! We even got a tour of the newly opened red ribbon space - thank you Ace, Sara Charles and Amy.More infoLuminosaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Asheville•4.7
- KMKarlaMvipLas Vegas •27 reviews4.0Dined on Sep 23, 2024We had the Tostones appetizer platter, which was plenty to split four ways before our dinner, and was very unique and tasty. The Cubano sandwich was fantastic. My husband enjoyed the ceviche and a friend enjoyed the Arroz con Pollo (huge portion). I had the Garden Grove cocktail, which was good, but mostly I just tasted cucumber. My friends had the Hemingway Sunset, which unfortunately neither one of them loved. We’ve been here previously when it was quite crowded and loud, but on a Monday evening, it was almost empty. Because it had just rained, we opted to sit inside and ended up at a booth. The one downside to our experiences was that the overall temperature in the restaurant was quite warm and sitting in that elevated booth directly under the bright lights made it uncomfortably hot and bright. I wish there had been away to turn the lights down or off. I actually had to get up from the table and go outside to cool off at one point.More infoHemingway's CubaPrice: Moderate• Cuban• Asheville•4.3
