- WWilliamLondon •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoI have been using this restaurant for over 30 years. It has rarely disappointed. The soup de poisson is outstanding as is the beef entrecôte for sharing. Service is as good as anywhere you will find and the ambience thoroughly French. Highly recommended.More infoLe Cafe du MarchePrice: Very Expensive• French• Barbican•4.7

- JJohnLondon •8 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoConsistently great food and service complemented by a great atmosphere and grand choice of wine. Menu was again refreshingly much changed since we were here a few weeks back and it was fun once again to escape through the back of the wardrobe for a couple of happy hours.More infoCloth RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Traditional French• Farringdon•4.7
- KKathleenSan Francisco Bay Area •12 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoOutstanding food, service, ambiance. Classic British food, nose to tail, simply but exquisitely prepared. We started with olives and roasted bone marrow, a favourite we order whenever possible, and this was the best we’ve ever had. Accompanying parsley salad was flavourful crunchy and fresh, perfect accompaniment along sourdough toast. For mains we shared grey mullet, grilled shorthorn, white asparagus, green salad and a sublime braised mutton. Everything was superb and we were quite full but couldn’t resist dessert. Both the lemon posset and date loaf with butterscotch sauce were incredible and we ate every last bit. Service was low key excellent and very helpful as we ordered wine by the glass having over imbibed over the weekend and server recommendations were perfect.More infoSt. JOHN SmithfieldPrice: Very Expensive• British• Farringdon•4.8
