Jordan Pond House, a restaurant and shop with a long tradition within Acadia National Park, sits on a hill overlooking a beautiful lawn along the Jordan Pond. Guests have been enjoying these amazing views and dining at this site since 1893 when Nellie McIntire, the first proprietor, started baking and serving her famous popovers out of the restaurant. Ever since then, we have been serving popovers and tea.Please note: Reservations may be made for inside dining only. Very good discovery in Bangor. We order Pizzas, Chicago style was amazing, and Fish and chips that my eldest son loved it. The service was great. Very good value for money in a very informal fancy American style place. Will come back.

We traveled over five hours from Massachusetts to check out a local college and stayed overnight in Bangor. My nephew loves BWW and it was a great time to relax with him after a long day. The food was perfect and the wait staff was great. Highly recommended
