Amazing food and solid service. I loved the party music playlist though some diners may find it too much. My only complaint is that the chairs (as opposed to the bench seating) were small and uncomfortably hard, especially when the meal is meant to be enjoyed at a slower pace. Sitting for two hours on those small, hard chairs is not pleasant. 

We enjoyed great meals last night at Allistir One of us had the scallops and I had the venison. Both were excellent with the accompany vegetables also excellent. We eat at Allistir often and these were some of our best meals and the new chef Joel is obviously doing wonderfully. We recommend eating at Allistir.

We went to That's Amore twice in the past 2 weeks, it's that good. The first time we didn't have a reservation, but were able to sit at their small (4 seat) bar and chat up the owner, Guy (who's a really nice Guy)! Our recent visit we were lucky to get a window seat, even though it's hard to see the view at night. There was a family birthday celebration at the table behind us, hence the "moderate" noise level. The servers are excellent. The food is consistently good. My friend's "fresh catch" was halibut on risotto, and while a generous portion, she thought it was a touch dry. I told our server that I couldn't decide on the Alfredo with chicken or the chicken parmesan, and she said I could have both! So they put my chicken parm on top of Alfredo; simply delicious. My only complain is that they have a $35 corkage fee; I'd rather it be $25, but next time I'll try one of their bottles. Highly recommended...but you do need a reservation!
