Love going to Nebbiolo. Always get excellent service by Nick and the food and cocktails are outstanding. We reserved the special table in the wine area for an out-of-town guest. They even put a white tablecloth on it for us (not standard for the overall tables in the restaurant). Great new fall menu with so many wonderful food and drink options.

When we travel from Seattle to Portland we always try to have a dinner at Nostrana, The food is simply prepared and perfect every time we have had dinner. They serve a wide range of people from dating couples to oldsters like us. Drinks and wine also very well chosen and well prepared. Service is attentive. Be sure to get a reservation ! We dine here almost weekly. They are consistently great and hence we go back. We’ve been going for a couple years now and every meal was just as expected. They have specials in the weekends and some seasonal menu changes. Drinks are made correctly. Staff are hard workers and stay. I notice when staff stay with an employer in the restaurant business-it says a lot for the chef/owner. I always recommend Avanti to people I know who want a great meal without an upcharge for ambience. You aren’t paying for a view or fine linens here-you are here for the food and drinks. The service is top notch.
