Seasonal Local American Cuisine. We use many local products from local farmers. We are located about a mile west of the University of Virginia campus. Historic old home turned into a restaurant. Three small intimate dining rooms upstairs, one on the ground floor and a large weather protected patio. In the winter the Patio is heated. Family owned since 1995.     Excellent overall experience, I made special requests and they obliged as best they could, the Candlelight was a little small votive but adequate, but the Rose petals in the shape of a 10 for our tenth Anniversary was 😙👌. The Food was great, the Shrimp and Clam Staters were On Point, great flavor, Ribeye Steak was perfect, the steaks sauces were on point! The Scallops were great. The Moscato Saracco was Excellent. Overall a Perfect night. (When the other "older" party of four decided to show up ten mins early at 1850 and be loud and boisterous it was annoying 😑) but overall 5 out of 5.

    Wonderful place to meet up with friends! We met @ W&H for the first time on December 19, 2023, so naturally we went this year on December 19. And, you guessed it, plan to go on December 19, 2025!! Stephanie, our waitress, actually recognized us!! She was so attentive, personable and accommodating!! We lacked for nothing!! Wonderful atmosphere, excellent waitstaff and delicious food. Until next year - - - -
