Restaurants near Alcazar Palm Springs

Have not been to Trio in a few years. I have to say, the food was outstanding and our waitress was lovely. There was some mixup a a waiter offered to box my leftovers and they disappeared. But the restaurant took care of it. With so many people eating on Christmas Day, I can see how this can happen. Just fantastic meal and service!

How wonderful it was to spend this Christmas Eve with special friends at Eight4Nine. A true treasure in the desert. Food, service and ambiance just perfect! Our server Sean was on it. He couldn’t have been more welcoming and efficient. Eight4Nine you are loved by so many. Thank you for the marvelous times and memories!

I want to take Chad home with me. But if I have to let him stay, then I hope all patrons get to experience his magic. But he does not work alone. Clearly the kitchen staff is amazing. Loved the tuna tacos, Caesar salad and lamb t-bone. Normally I don’t order dessert but I highly recommend the sticky pudding. Bottom line this is a 5* hands down.

My wife and I have been regulars at Jake’s for a long time. So we have experienced it with original owners and new owners. Ron & Scott continue to up their standards of quality, never taking anything for granted. We were there yesterday and their Brunch menu is truly awesome. So many great dishes to choose from. And the Service is wonderful as always. Ron and Scott care so much and it’s reflected in just how great the staff shows their happiness. Never missing a moment to help. Jake’s dinner menu and lunch menu are equally great. Jake’s has definitely become one of Palm Springs’ premier restaurants. They of course get lots of visitors to eat there but truly love and cater to locals to be happy.

What a gem! We made reservations a week in advance -- a good thing because this place is hopping. The menu is inventive, a bit hard to navigate, but our lovely server helped us choose the right number of places to share, nudging us toward some of the house specialties, such as the Celebration Bread, Citrus Endive salad, Lamb Kuftas and an eggplant dip (the name of which escapes me) that were simply out of this world. We've enjoyed Middle Eastern cuisine in Manhattan, DC, and Chicago. This place gives those big-city establishments a run for their money.
