- JJoeMemphis / West Tennessee •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOur meal at Girl & the Goat was wonderful! The service was friendly and helpful. He knew the menu and ensured our experience delicious. We began our dinner with the naan. The dips served alongside were excellent. Next we enjoyed the chickpea fritters that we crisp with creamy inside, accented by pomegranate. We definitely wanted to try the goat empanadas, and were glad that we did. Our next course that we enjoyed were the wood-fired mussels. The broth was delicious. We ended with the roasted pig face. Our server enticed us with dessert. We finished our meal with the apple hand pie. Overall, we loved this place.More infoGirl & the GoatPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• West Loop•4.8

I sent a note ahead of time letting the restaurant staff know and they were very timely in responding back stating they would make her experience special. Well I’m so very pleased to report back that they both had an AMAZING night! They stated the food was fabulous however, even better was how they were treated by your entire servers/team. Thank you Rose Mary staff as I truly believe she had a very memorable birthday this year all because of your attention to detail and for going above and beyond. Absolutely incredible!! And I will be certain to share out their experience with others so they patronize your place as well. Cheers, PamMore infoRose MaryPrice: Expensive• Croatian• West Loop•4.8
- RRyanSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoI took my mom for a Valentine's Day lunch. We went around 3 PM, and even though my reservation was at 3:30 PM the staff were nice enough to let me in. Granted it was a low volume of people eating at the time. We were sat near the windows which added to the ambience of our visit. The music made it feel like we were in an old fancy jazz club. I had the French onion soup and the chicken sandwich while my mom had the Walnut turkey club sandwich. Both sandwiches came with well seasoned fries. The food was delicious and our waitress, Annette, was very attentive and sweet. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely go again. I would highly recommend the Walnut Room.More infoThe Walnut Room - ChicagoPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown / Loop•4.6
- SSunshineVIPChicago / Illinois •13 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoBeautiful atmosphere and decor with incredible views. House music played in the background, the bar is gorgeous and the people are here to see and be seen. Thankfully, the food and service stands up to the see and be seen portion of this experience. Service was amazing, our server was warm, friendly, happy to make suggestions, and funny. We really enjoyed her. The food was delicious - panzanella salad "like summer in a bowl" followed by the wild boar ragu (divinely rich and silky) and then a filete di manzo with parmesan roasted fennel and smashed potatoes. The steak is smoky, with a nice crust on the outside but rare, sweet and tender on the inside. At first, we had FOMO over the pasta, thinking we should have ordered two pastas. Once we had tiramisu for dessert (which was impossibly creamy and rich), we were glad we didn't order a 2nd pasta because we were so full. We ate very well and laughed about it as we rolled out of the St Regis to the car. We had the Blanco Bianco Amargo, a tequila/mezcal drink, and it was divinely crafted with a lovely finish. Everything here is well thought out and carefully executed. I asked our server to surprise me with a glass of red wine suitable for the pasta and steak. She gave me a Barbera, which worked well with the intense richness of the boar and beef. This is a romantic atmosphere, with lots of space and service is such that it allows privacy and the staff understand that. Highly recommend the experience for a date night!More infoTre DitaPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• River North (Chicago)•4.8
- RRenneVIPChicago / Illinois •8 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoHad a wonderful time. We checked in for a birthday dinner, and the hostess inquired whose birthday it was and greeted the birthday boy warmly, as did our server when she came to our table to greet us. Everything was delicious. We had the Prosciutto and warm bread, fried artichokes, rigatoni amatriciana, the NY strip and the roasted romanesco. Highly recommend the artichokes and the rigatoni, just outstanding. We had 2 cocktails, both delicious, and the pistachio gelato (one serving is enough for 2 people to share). They had 2 glasses of prosecco brought out for a birthday toast. We will definitely be back. The pricing is standardly high on the food side, but that is to be expected these days.More infoil CarciofoPrice: Expensive• Italian• West Loop•4.5
