Restaurants near Portland State University

Thankfully, we were seated in the back in a lovely, cozy room. William was an attentive server. The onion rings were perfect, as always. Steaks were delicious. We found it to be a perfect Anniversary Dinner destination.

We ordered the Calamari as a starter! It was delicious however it would easily feed 4-6 people rather than 2 I had the kale salad which was also dry but enough for 2-3 people My 12 year old wanted scallops and our server offered to have the sauce on the side and served them with Yukon gold instead of the peppers and corn! Exactly what she wanted for her special celebration

When we travel from Seattle to Portland we always try to have a dinner at Nostrana, The food is simply prepared and perfect every time we have had dinner. They serve a wide range of people from dating couples to oldsters like us. Drinks and wine also very well chosen and well prepared. Service is attentive. Be sure to get a reservation ! Great meal. Mussel appetizer was one of best I’ve ever had.

While searching for a different dining experience in my city. I saw the BEASTRO and was intrigued by the fusion of Island and Korean food, then I made a lunch reservation. The menu items that we chose were generous, more than we could eat in one sitting. I recommend the restaurant for the fusion experience. I will return for the dinner menu options which sounded tasty.
