Riccardo was born in Florence, Italy and grew up in Boston, MA. Marybeth, a Sioux Falls native, ventured to the east coast as a nanny and then nursing school in Somerville, MA. The two met, fell in love, and became engaged on Martha’s Vineyard island. Moving back to Sioux Falls in 1999 and working at several area restaurants, they opened R Wine Bar in 2018. The best Scottish salmon I have ever had! My husband said his filet was the best he had ever had and we thoroughly enjoyed the mashed potatoes. Well done Minerva’s!
