Craftsmanship at its finest is displayed at Sushi Noz, where guests experience our seasonal omakase menu curated nightly by Chef Nozomu Abe. Known as "Noz" to his friends, Abe-san is part of a movement from Japan advancing Edomae-style sushi, incorporating aging and preparation techniques that date back to Japan's Edo period. Upon entering the restaurant, guests are transported by the Sukiya-style wooden interior, which was assembled using more than a dozen types of cedar. The centerpiece of our first dining room is our 8-seat, 200-year-old hinoki wood sushi bar and traditional ice chest, where Chef Noz refrigerates the evening's neta selections.     The staff was phenomenal as usual. We got married here and have returned every year to celebrate our anniversary. The food, the ambience, and the staff are top-of-the-line. The general manager is exceptional and always friendly. Needless to say, we love it.

    Kazon was our server and he made our experience perfect. His timing on taking care of myself and my guests, along with his suggestions were brilliant. A must visit anytime of the year, but especially special during the holidays. We did dress for the occasion, and I highly recommend doing so. You experience a level of fine dining while being accompanied by fellow guests with the same taste, it’s a lovely way to slow time down in the busy hustle of Manatan❤️

    Our server was excellent, filled our glasses with iced tea without having to track her down. The ambience is great - a good view of the obelisk. My only criticism is that I requested a "medium rare hamburger" and it came out medium. I didn't want to wait for a redo and the quality of the meat was fine -- it just wasn't perfect.

    We were made to wait 15 minutes for our 8 pm reservation with no real place to stand and no offer of a drink or something on the house as an apology. That said, once seated, the food was good, the service was prompt and friendly and there certainly was a lively atmosphere.
