Eight years ago, Maximo Bistrot started as a restaurant for the thinking and execution of dishes from a wide range of techniques with the best of local ingredients; a warmful place that communicated our love for food. After a long and heartwarming road at our current location, we thought for the need of moving. Our new home, located at Alvaro Obregon 65 bis - a much wider space where gleams of natural light shine upon the surface-, is carefully assembled by Gabriela's meticulous look, and a kitchen built within Eduardo García's early memories, while living as an inmigrant in a barn in Ohio. Despite this big change, our principles initially founded remain the same: to offer food that distinguishes the best of local products.

HANDSHAKE BAR spans two levels, each offering a selection of our most iconic cocktails. Both spaces provide a warm, intimate atmosphere.     Good food, great ambiance, and fantastic service. We enjoyed our visit to Ling Ling immensely. We had a great seat on the patio, with a view overlooking the city. Jose Luis was an exceptional waiter, providing service at a level that's hard to find - always there when we needed something, without ever making us feel like he intruded. The little touches, such as changing dirty plates between each course were greatly appreciated as well. The portions of each dish are small, which we appreciated - it allowed us to try several things without having to waste anything. And the white chocolate and raspberry desert was absolutely out of this world delicious! ;) (I also recommend the camaron crujiente, or crunchy shrimp)

    This is the place for fish and seafood. The tostadas de atun are always excellent as were the sopes de pedregal and the pescado a la talla entremar was fresh and perfectly cooked.
