- CChaseAlabama •3 reviews5.0Dined todayWell-prepared and thoughtful dishes for a range of tastes at a price point comparable with their quality. Would definitely go back, no question. Has the ambiance of a special occasion without emptying the wallet. We had two appetizers (one at market price), three entrees, two glasses of wine, one glass of port, and a soda for $245 before tip. That’s about $80/person and we didn’t finish our entrees after the appetizers—portions are very decent. Cut out the alcohol and the market price appetizer and you’re looking at probably $50-60/person, which honestly I’ve spent on a DoorDash for far less thoughtfully-prepared food.More infoDaniel George Restaurant and BarPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Birmingham•4.9
- RRandyOrlando / Central Florida East •4 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoMuch busier that I had anticipated for Christmas Day, especially compared to when we were there Thanksgiving. Day. Meat takes a certain time to cook properly so plan you visit around that, and I don't believe that 2:00 PM is a most conducive time, rather around noon or 4:00 PM seems better. The food was excellent, and if you are looking for a specific meat, mention it to your server and they will ensure the next skewer makes it to your table. The restaurant was packed, and they managed quite well, remembering the employees gave up their families on Christmas to serve you. As good as any we had in Rio de Janeiro, although we though the Belmond Hotel at Iguassu was better. Definitely a return visit is in order on a less busy day. If you are a meat eater, you can't go wrong!More infoTexas de Brazil - BirminghamPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Birmingham•4.6
- DDanielAlabama •35 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoOur first time visiting Little Betty. The food and service were very good but similar to all of these steak places, it was very expensive. It was a lovely place to be on Christmas Eve and reminded me of the supper clubs I used to enjoy in Wisconsin many years ago. - CChrisWashington, D.C. Area •3 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 19, 2024I took our IT department here for the Annual Christmas lunch and everyone loved it! Every plate was clean when we finished and dessert was also served. I had the fish special of the day - Grouper served over a grit cake with a white wine butter sauce. It was off the charts delicious!! I have eaten at Bistro-V many times through the years and they are always exceptional.More infoBistro VPrice: Moderate• American• Birmingham•4.9
