This charming Upper East Side café exudes comfort and conviviality, with parchment shades that soften light from sconces that warm the room. Eager to please, the kitchen uses high-quality ingredients for its mix-and-match philosophy. Patrons can choose their meats, their pastas (dried or, for a slight surcharge, the restaurant's own homemade), and their sauces (from a simple marinara to a more complex carbonara) as they create their own dishes. For dessert, you can't go wrong with a cappuccino or a chocolate tartufo all served up with a smile. During this time, the Restaurant staff is taking temperature of diners and a phone number from one member of the party for contact tracing . Plexi-glass dividers are set up for both inside and outside dining areas.

Craftsmanship at its finest is displayed at Sushi Noz, where guests experience our seasonal omakase menu curated nightly by Chef Nozomu Abe. Known as "Noz" to his friends, Abe-san is part of a movement from Japan advancing Edomae-style sushi, incorporating aging and preparation techniques that date back to Japan's Edo period. Upon entering the restaurant, guests are transported by the Sukiya-style wooden interior, which was assembled using more than a dozen types of cedar. The centerpiece of our first dining room is our 8-seat, 200-year-old hinoki wood sushi bar and traditional ice chest, where Chef Noz refrigerates the evening's neta selections. Our second dining room features a sushi bar made from tamo ash wood, which accommodates an additional 6 guests. We welcome our guests in true Japanese hospitality, offering two nightly seatings at each counter.

The restaurant is famous for verity of kebabs and refreshing salads and gently spiced grilled meats. The yogurt and cucumber blended with a little mint is made exceedingly well and is an ideal cool compliment to Persepolis’ rounds of Pita & Barbari bread. A friendly and welcoming staff, very attentive and professional. Food/wine/beer was good and the view over the (frozen!) lake with the sun shining on it was a delight. Not cheap - but decent value for money for a special lunch with friends. Highly recommended.

I like the place.. It looks nice, but way too little space and too many tables. I had to get up from the chair for other people to go.. it was so tight space. They should change that. Make a little more room your coustmer. Another thing that I didn't like was I had reservation for 2 people and told them to get us a place away from door and on the corner yet they didn't hold a table for us so what was the point of making reservations if you're not going to hold a table for us. We came, and they had 3/4 table left in the dining room. All are next to the door. I myself work in restaurant and when I check the reservations on OpenTable in my work place we read the what coustmer wants and then we reserve the table for them not wait til them to come and give the leftover table.. Manger; need to notice that, please. Besides that, food, drink and service was great. Will i be back.. I'm not sure. Maybe if they fix this issue, I might be back for food otherwise no I don't think I will back.

The meat is outstanding, complemented by the delightful appetizer they serve and the popovers with butter and salt—absolutely delicious! We enjoyed the Caesar salad, NY strip, Wagyu skirt steak, several sides, and finished with the lava cake. Everything was excellent. The service was impeccable too! Love this restaurant!

We had a wonderful experience during our dinner. The entire night was a blast. The staff, food and ambiance were all amazing. The best thing that happened was that we ended up having dinner on a night where they were celebrating "A La Turka's" 30th anniversary. The atmosphere was full of energy and we had a great time. Felt just like family. Thanks a bunch for a great time.
