Restaurants near A Trotters

First time visiting pizza althea! The drinks were phenomenal but the food could use some improvement. I don’t know if the timing of our reservation had anything to do with it but we ordered the caviar mozzarella sticks, the meatball, oysters, cacio e pepe pizza and a beet salad. The mozzarella sticks were amazing, the meatball was very overcooked but the accompanying bread was phemenoal, the oysters were okay and the cacio e pepe pizza was not our favorite — might be a personal preference but we thought it was too “herby”. Despite our experience, will revisit during an earlier time to try the rest of the menu.

Everything was perfect. The setting, the staff and the food was fantastic. The veal was so tender and the portions were big. Of course took the leftovers home. The Straciatella soup was delicious as was the shrimp cocktail. We had cheesecake for dessert which was fantastic. We shared it and couldn’t finish it. The piano player adds a nice touch.

My husband and I went to Rikasa for Valentines dinner. We were greeted very warmly and welcomed. This was our first visit, and we’re pleasantly surprised at the restaurant. Our server was Patrick, he was so friendly and knowledgeable about the food. You could tell that Patrick gets excited about their food and wine listing. Patrick went into detail about everything. The Caesar salad was spectacular. I LOVE salads and I usually judge most restaurants by the lettuce and if their salad dressing is homemade…-excellent. I had the sea bass and my husband had the braised short rib. The sea bass was so good and the portions were really nice. We absolutely loved this venue and we are so happy to have come here. We will be back. My husband said we felt like we made friends with Patrick, he was great.

We had reservations for Valentine’s Day and thought that everyone working there was very attentive to all needs of everyone in restaurant. Only negative was when we were leaving we were not offered to fill out a review for the restaurant and fill out birthday certificates for coupon for birthday. We would recommend and will also return at a later date.

So much fun! That atmosphere is enjoyable! Prices are unbeatable!
