- JJanevipBaltimore / Maryland •13 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoExcellent food and service! We had an 8:15 reservation, and the restaurant was packed with several parties waiting at the hostess stand. We went to the bar and had a seat, ordered drinks. Excellent service there as well. Very comfortable bar, so no problem that it took longer than quoted time. We were seated and after we ordered, the manager came to apologize for the wait in seating us. He offered to comp appetizers. Honestly, I have never had a manger come to apologize, much less offer something for a late seating (especially when we weren’t complaining at all). Top service tonight-one of our favorite places!More infoGlenwood's - Stanford Grill: ColumbiaPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Columbia•4.7
- PpatrickvipBaltimore / Maryland •7 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe arrived at 8 pm for reservation. Hostess informed us several tables were still clearing out and that she would text us when the table was ready. We hung out at the bar area, which was very nice. Excellent old-fashioned cocktail with just the right combination of bitters and sweetness. At 830, our table still wasn't ready. The manager apologized and offered us a large round table in the bar area. While it was noisier in this area, the ambiance was quite nice. They had a guitarist playing acoustic as well. The food was excellent, including oysters, sea bass, and braised short rib. Ojai vineyards 2016 pinot noir was terrific and decanter provided. The manager also provided us with a complimentary glass of wine for our troubles. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for small groups, special occasions, or even to grab a quick bite at the bar while watching a sporting event.More infoSmashing Grapes - ColumbiaPrice: Expensive• Wine Bar• Columbia•4.3
- KKellyvipWashington, D.C. Area •15 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoHostess that greeted us remembered me from calling in weeks ago about my reservation. Nice to be remembered. Beautiful atmosphere, food presentation was well done, food quality was excellent prepared well and to top it off belly dancer for a 20 minute show. However, I felt audience participation was too long and ended up detracting from the experience. Wait to receive our food was longer than anticipated or desired and not as attentive as we would have liked.More infoCazbar - ColumbiaPrice: Moderate• Turkish• Columbia•4.8
